As you know, the National Fireworks Association (NFA) and its leaders have been working hard to defeat a mis-guided and ill-informed rule proposed by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) that would dramatically change the landscape of the consumer fireworks industry.

The most recent CPSC meeting on this topic took place late last month and ended without a decision. It appears that all of the comments and feedback from concerned folks has made a difference. The CPSC essentially decided to kick the can down the road with the intent of gathering some additional information.
